The St. Paul RV at San Mariano Isabela had the blessing and turnover of its first housing unit last Apr.16,2009 while two other houses were restored (renovated from bamboo materials to concrete). These are the initial output of their shelter program while three other families are in line to have their houses built or restored soon. The funds for these fully built houses came from the CFC FFL brethren at Texas USA while funds for restoration of houses came from efforts of the local team.
The 1st beneficiary, Sis. Janet, is a member of handmaids. They were CFC household leaders before her husband died of heart attack. She and her 3 children were living with in-laws before they moved in to their new home. They are thankful to have a home they can call their own.
On the same day, the local team led by Bros.Ely Cruz (WWP Team Leader) and Robert Gelacio (Chapter Head) also had their Restoration Team Training conducted by Bros. Rene Evidente & Bonjie Bonjibod from the WWP Home Office in Manila.
