
August 9, 2008 marked the start of the building of houses at the Pasong Tamo RV in Quezon City. The beneficiaries, the restoration team, and the cluster members came in full force. Present, too, were the motorized grass cutting team of the Barangay whose chairman have given all out support for the project.
The activity started in the morning with a prayer led by Fr. Justin Sequierra. After a meeting of the restoration team and briefing of the volunteers, clearing of the site and layouting of a block of houses followed. A block of 10 housing units will be the initial project. Bros. Chito Liban, Novaliches District Head and Rene Evidente, WWP National Coordinator were on hand to give support. Bro. Bong Manguni leads the restoration team of the site. Said shelter program will continue every weekend as CFCFFL members and beneficiaries will be reporting at the site for volunteer work. For more Photos
