Pasong Tamo Restoration Village Groundbreaking!

After two years in the pipeline, the Pasong Tamo Restoration Village finally came to life with its  groundbreaking ceremonies last Mar.29, 2008. Fr. Ralph Nestosamonte, Asst. Parish Priest of the San Isidro Labrador Parish blessed the occasion and Bro. Frank  Padilla exhorted those present to serve the poor with joy and not to be burdened in the process. CFCFFL brethren in Hongkong thru Bro. Tony Magente gave their support through a ceremonial check donation amounting toHK$80,000, enough to start building the community center where majority of the soft programs will be held. Representatives of Himlayang Pilipino and Bgry. Pasong Tamo were also present. Himlayang Pilipino used to own the lot of the RV site. Said lot was brought thru the Community Mortgage Program and subdivided to 374 lots for the benefit of the same number of families, majority of whom are poor CFCFFLmembers in the area.
