Mary Mediatrix Restoration Village, Paranaque.
CFC FFL’s Work With the Poor programs were officially started with the groundbreaking ceremonies of our 1st Restoration Village (RV) at Creeksite, United Paranaque 4 Subdivision last Feb.29, 2008. The site is named after patroness of the community. The site has 220 families living in 20 sqm lots subdivided from a total area of 7000 sqm. The area is under the Community Mortgage Program of the Social Housing Finance Corp. The families are ably represented by their duly registered group, the Creeeksite Homeowners Association. Our restoration (caretaker) team there is lead by Bro. Manny Edralin. The chapter head in the area is Bro. Tony Caringal..
Said groundbreaking was blessed by Fr. Alfred Ramos, parish priest of Mary Mother of Good Counsel of the Diocese of Paranaque. In our RVs, we intend to enlist the support of the church through parish priests in the area. Bros. Frank Padilla, Lachie Agana, Nonong Contreras, Oland David and Rene Evidente graced the occasion. Paranaque Councilor Rico Golez and Brgy Capt. Mike San Miguel were also present.
The first house, shown being built in the picture, was donated by Mr. Roberto Romulo. The next project there will be the construction of the community center (multi purpose hall w/ a classroom and office). This is to emphasize the importance of programs on community life and education in the RVs. More Photos
