The Manliclics during the turnover ceremonies
The Maryknoll College Maidens ‘65 formally awarded their house donation to two beneficiary couples at the CFC International Restoration Village at Remarville, Novaliches, Quezon City last Oct.11, 2009. The MC65 donation, originally intended for one family, benefitted two families. This is because the 1st house had cost savings due to common walls & foundations from adjacent units. The savings were enough to start construction of the ground floor of the 2nd unit.
During the awarding ceremonies, Fred & Vangie Manliclic ( the beneficiaries of the 1st MC65 house) were teary-eyed in thanking the Lord that there prayer of having their own house came were granted. Before this, they were just renting and have to make both ends meet because of health problems, Rene had a stroke and Vangie had a chronic pneumonia. The 2nd beneficiaries, Fred & Carol Gaytano, were also thankful that there house was already started and praying that will be completed soon.
Class members of MC65, Ms. Marita Gomez – Samson and Carol Padilla – Roy awarded the units. Ms. Ding Eustaquio – Contreras represented her twin sister Mila in the ceremonies.
