The CFC International Village was initiated by members of Cluster 6 in the CFC North C Sector who bought a lot with an area of 4,904 square meters in Jan. 2006, subdivided it into 132 lots and allocated them to their homeless members. Bro. Frank Padilla took notice of this village and envisioned it to be the prototype for housing provision for homeless members of the CFC community.  He then requested the CFC community worldwide to sponsor the houses, thus this village became known as the CFC International Village. By August 2007, the site has 35 completed houses.

 

At present,  the association are concentrating on pastoral programs like Values Formation aside from shelter construction with limited funds from generous CFC FFL members of the Novaliches district. As of October 2008, 55 houses are already finished and the site needs more help to complete the remaining 77 units.

 

The BATA pre school program  is ongoing and currently has sixty (60) pre-school students and three (3) teachers.  Despite lack of funds, the teachers continue to render service for the children.

 

The CFC Int’l RV Team has been conducting the following activities:

Community Life – Values Formation on-going, Christian Life Seminar just recently conducted (June 2008 to August 2008), 85 Couples graduated.

 

Education – Pre-school classes started June 16, 2008, Total budgetary requirements for the school year amounted to P250,000.  This includes allowances for teachers, feeding program for the pupils, and other operational expenses.

 

Shelter –Construction of the remaining 77 units at US$2,000 each.

 

Livelihood – conducts job skills and training. 

 

Health – conducts trainings, assists in medical missions

 

Environment – conducts regular cleaning on open canals and finish roads and path walks.
