Bata Preschool Parents Formation Program

CFC International RV, Novaliches.

Sis. Cel Montilla, EFI Fulltimer giving the 1st talk.

The BATA (Biyayang Aral Tanging Alay) Community-based Early Childhood Education Program of the CFCFFL Restoration Villages believes that the primary educators of children are their parents.  Teachers only facilitate learning. It is because of this belief that regular parent formation sessions are being given for the parents of the children in our BATA Centers.  However, this is also open to the other parents of the community who may be interested to attend.  The parents are made to appreciate their divine call and mission of parenthood.  They are given talks on improving their Christian parenting skills and in assisting their children in enhancing learning at home. This gathering is also an opportunity for the teachers and the parents to meet, develop relationships, and have fellowship.

This series was started last July 15, 2009 at CFC International Village, at Remarville, Bagbag, QC to parents of the children presently attending the BATA program.

Despite limited funds, classes have started in June 2009 with 2 teachers are conducting daily classes for children aged 4-6 years old.  We have one class of 15 children under Teacher Jonah from 8:00 AM -11:00 AM and another class of 16 children with Teacher Susan from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
