Straight away, one can spot from among the arrivals those who take the game seriously by the telltale bowling bags they carry. More serious are those who carry bags that can contain two balls – something not seen many, many years ago. On the other hand, there were those who carry nothing but themselves. These are the kibitzers or occasional players who are game enough to be made fun of in the tournament.
